KIMBERLY KISSMANN

FOUNDER & DIRECTOR

I am blessed to be surrounded by beautiful horses and volunteers! My
life is an amazing journey of teaching and learning and my curiosity just continues to grow, searching for how best we can help our rescues and wild horses due to the circumstances that we have put them in. As a retired teacher and mother of two beautiful boys, I know the importance of Commitment, Communication and Confidence, focusing on those ideals with everything we do at the rescue.

LAURA HORVATH

VICE CHAIRMAN

Simply said I absolutely love FVHRR and everything this Rescue does for our equines in need.  It is an incredible organization filled with beautiful people doing amazing things for these animals.  With a background in non-profit work, I have an extensive history in fundraising, grant writing and more and have helped with numerous successful rescue events and programs we now hold annually.  On
my own horse journey here, I have been blessed to work closely with one of our BLM mustangs, Cosmo.

LISA FERGUSON

SECRETARY

I’ve enjoyed initiating the Read-With-A-Donkey program at FVHRR and I help feed and clean weekly. My joy comes from the solitude of working with our creatures and learning at the many clinics offered. I am in training as a UK Reiki Federation Board Certified Animal Practitioner so will be doing a lot of Reiki energy work this coming summer!my own horse journey here, I have been blessed to work closely with one of our BLM mustangs, Cosmo.

Close to completing the 5th and final level in our Horse Journey Program, when I graduate in 2025, I’m aspiring to go on and become an equine vet.how this organization provides training, education, rehabilitation, care, patience, and a place of tranquility for both the rescued animals and the volunteers alike.
